Play Originle here. Originle is a free originle game in the browser: a nationality guessing game and guess-the-country quiz. Each day is one guest. You read eight clues that get easier and guess the country they represent, including by spinning a globe. Three guesses. Score out of 10,000. There is no account, no video, and no public leaderboard. Daily results stay in local storage on this device.

People searching originle io usually mean originle.io, which used filmed guests and later stopped. This site is not that film. Guests here are new written copy.

## Clues

1. Welcome — tone and manners.
2. Kitchen — food or a household habit.
3. A word — a local saying.
4. A season — a holiday or civic memory.
5. A short line — a few words in the original language.
6. A place — a landmark or city life.
7. Paper and metal — flag, currency, or a document.
8. Almost home — a close description. You still pick the country.

## Scoring

A hit on clue 1 is 10,000. Clue 8 is 3,000 before misses. Each miss keeps 70% of the remaining points. Miss all three, or give up, and you score for how close the nearest guess was (up to 1,000).
